Social Equality Beckons

Today was a day of reckoning for me. It has been one of those days – for me, anyhow – that made me sit up and actually *think* (which is something few people tend to do these days, anyhow). Namely, it’s because I received a fantastic little note in my inbox about some kind of crap that is supposedly written by a queer kid who was raised by queer parents. There’s some pretty alarming stuff in this email, so I’m going to respond to it bit by bit.

T-day and More

Next week, we’ll be taking a trip to Georgia. The hubby’s Mom and Dad are showing up at our place Tuesday evening, and then Wednesday, we make the eight hour drive to my Sis-in-Law’s place. She and her hubby just bought it, so it will be the first time we’ve seen it or stayed there, and that’s why we all thought it would be a great idea to celebrate Thanksgiving there.

General Update for Nov.

As you may know, I started Spencerian this past September, and I’m working towards becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. Life is fabulously busy these days, but I’m keeping up. Just bought a new ride, too.
